Asafa Powell on Youth Olympic Games!

2nd Asafa Powell video I found and it’s part of an awareness campaign for the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games.

Geez, I never figured that. Check out the video and also the Singapore 2010 website, its got tons of cool stuff and let’s support athletics for the youth. It’s the first-ever Games and it’s happening this August!

That Kid Outran This Man ( I think)

http://www.myspace.com/powell024

Asafa Powell's myspace is very very green. But it's got a good pic of the main man, compare it with the person in the video from my first post, and yeah I'm pretty sure its Asafa Powell.

Also, here he is in proper action, when he set his (then) world record in 2007.

I like Rock, But I Love These Guys.

http://remixartistcollective.com/

Click on that link above for some aural magic. These guys are remix champions, putting fresh new approaches to familiar tunes. I found em out while scoping the internet for new music.

Ps. Have you guys checked out the video in my previous post yet ? You should, its wicked cool.

'Allo 'Allo All.

Rupert here, graphic design student , reality TV nut, track machine and internet addict.

I've been dabbling around on different blog mediums ( check out my most recent tumblr http://thewhiz.tumblr.com/) until I decided to migrate to blogspot.

Why? Well let's just say I'm mercurial that way :P

I hope you like the spiffy layout, I designed it myself :) Do check back as I'll be sharing awesome stuff I found on the internet and some design work I'll be doing as part of my course.

Think of me as a curator for all that's weird and wonderful on the web.

To kick-start things, check this video out .

It's a skinny kid outracing the great Asafa Powell on the mean streets of some anonymous Asian city. Its kinda clever how he gets Asafa running after him, too bad the bloke with the camera couldn't follow the whole race.

It reminds me of those football ads with Ronaldinho making the impossible look real, although you never know, maybe this kid is that FAST!

P.s. since its the first video I found, I've decided to be a little sentimental and base my blog url and name to mark the occassion.
